A new beginning

Some of you may have been wondering: What’s Rog been up to? Well, I have been out of the blogging “biz” for quite some time. I was working as a virtual assistant/social media marketing manager for bloggers with Ben Butler https://www.bizzybim.com/ and I really enjoyed it. Now it’s time to dust off the old blog and get back into the blogging biz. I decided the time is right to get back on the horse. My goal is to monetize it to help with our everyday living.

Where do I start? Well, in 2018, we’ve been basically nomads. Our house burned down in October of that year. We first started living at my wife’s sister’s house. Then, our grand kids asked if we would come live with them, and, at that time, for reasons I will keep private, the timing was perfect. So, we moved in with them and our oldest son. We celebrated both of our grand kid’s birthdays, our son’s birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. House Fire

We moved out July 1st, and moved to a little cottage, where we lived until October 1st, as the owner had to winterize it. We then moved into a hotel in Horseheads, NY. We have come full circle, and are now back at my brother and sister’s-in-law house, until our house is finished. We’re staying there while our brother-in-law recovers from an auto accident he had in January.

A New Beginning

I have several posts coming soon, ranging from the actual day of the fire, to some politics (more of a history flavor) and history. I’m going to try to be obscure with history: events that a lot of people aren’t aware that happened. I hope that I can entertain, as well as inform you. I also plan to sprinkle some humorous memes throughout. I felt an updated post on what’s been going on, where we’ve been and a whole variety of topics was warranted. I’ve actually missed writing, and as long as I can keep coming up with different posts, I’ll keep on writing.

So, what have you been up to? Any new or exciting things in your life? I’d love to hear from you!

A New Beginning

My life has been boring compared to what’s been going on in your life! I’m so sorry you lost your home, but I’m glad you’ve been able to bounce back.

Oh my goodness what a hectic time! I can’t imagine what that must have been like. How lovely that you got to spend lots of time with your grandchildren though! We spent 10 months living with my parents and my daughter loved being able to spend time each day with them.

It was great, even though there were times where I got depressed and mad. I think it was because of losing our house and everything

Ah Rog, I am so sorry to hear about your house fire, I hope not to many personal mementos such as photographs and the such were lost. It’s hard enough when the items damaged are replaceable but when irreplaceable ones are lost that is even more heartbreaking!

We lost almost 100% of our belongings. There are some photos we have on Facebook, as well as family members, so that’s a blessing
